How do I import a recipe?
You can import recipes by snapping a photo of a cookbook, pasting a URL, sharing from any app using the iOS share sheet, or importing from a YouTube video link. CookFlic's AI extracts the full recipe automatically.
Can I use CookFlic offline?
CookFlic works fully offline for browsing, organizing, and cooking your already-saved recipes. New recipe capture and AI extraction require an internet connection on devices that use cloud AI processing. On supported iPhones with on-device AI, new recipes can be processed offline too.
How does ingredient matching work?
Add ingredients to your pantry by scanning your fridge or entering them manually. CookFlic calculates a match score for every saved recipe based on what you already have on hand. Sort by highest match to see what you can cook right now.
Does CookFlic work as a pantry recipe app?
Yes. Tracking your pantry is central to how CookFlic works. Add what you have, and the app matches every saved recipe against your current stock and scores it by how many ingredients you already own.
Can I use CookFlic to organize recipes on my iPhone?
Yes. CookFlic is built specifically as an iPhone recipe manager. Import recipes from any source, tag them by cuisine, cook time, and dietary needs, and filter your collection instantly. Everything is stored on your device and accessible offline.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your recipes are stored on your device. AI processing runs on-device on supported iPhones, and via secure cloud processing on all others — in both cases your recipe data is never stored on our servers. We do not collect personal information or share your data with third parties.
