By downloading, installing, or using CookFlic, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
Description of Service
CookFlic is a recipe management app that lets you capture recipes from various sources, organize them, match them to ingredients in your pantry, and follow step-by-step cooking instructions. The app uses AI to extract and process recipe data — running on-device on supported iPhones and via secure cloud processing on all other devices.
User Conduct
You agree to use CookFlic only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the app to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, distribute harmful or malicious content, or attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
Intellectual Property
CookFlic and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CookFlic and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Recipes you save within the app remain your own content.
User Content
You retain ownership of any recipes and content you create or import into CookFlic. Your content is stored locally on your device. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content and do not access, use, or share it for any purpose beyond providing the app's core functionality.
Third-Party Content
CookFlic allows you to import recipes from external sources such as websites and cookbooks. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of imported content complies with applicable copyright laws and the terms of the original source.
Disclaimer of Warranties
CookFlic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Recipe extraction accuracy may vary depending on the source material.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CookFlic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including but not limited to errors in recipe extraction, ingredient matching, or cooking instructions.
Termination
You may stop using CookFlic at any time by uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time without notice. Upon termination, all data stored locally on your device remains yours.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of CookFlic after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
